I dont get how this can be controlled by a client and not by the server.
dbd cheese - he streamed from YT
Edit : I deleted the direct link again, because the video had ads for the cheat software
The first time or two it happened I had some dbd ptsd and assumed they were lag switching or using a teleport hack and I realized I was wrong. I probably shouldn't have jumped the report gun. I was just so used to people cheating and getting away with it in dbd lol.
Not that at least a lag switch tp doesn't exist, btw, one girl ran into a corner in the sunflower field out in the back of the house on the map with the long road exit and suddenly disappeared with no crawl space, no slide through the fence (I was on the Hitcher so should have been able to follow and no such spot was around I checked a whole few sweeps afterwards flabbergasted) and concluded that one did use a lag switch of some sort or a tp hack because they suddenly disappeared in what they thought was a clever spot 2 more times through the match.
The sunflower field she was in had just one clear way into it and out of it the way the fences were laid out in that particular area, which made it funny as she ran in there as I and the other guy were probably thinking she was about to bite the dust. She disappeared in the corner just as I swung while right in front of myself too, disappeared into thin air like one of those fair folk I been hearing about out in the woods.
But that was only the one that I remember offhand after playing all weekend which isn't nearly as often as I see cheaters in dbd. And it's still possible it was severe lag, either on her end or on my end, ins pite of how many times it happened. What made it suspicious was the spots it always happened in, a few times makes it seem like it wasn't coincidental lag.
