voice chat still not working on PC

Just like the play test the voice chat is not working. I've done everything to try and fix it to no avail. When is it going to be fixed? This bug was clearly not fixed.

I'm happy it works for you but tons of people are having issues with it. If it doesn't work less people are going to be communicating

its not even a mic problem, the voice chat is literally non-existent for me. Every player shows their mic off every single game and there is never a single peep. I don't expect the whole world to talk but something else is going on besides just my mic.

I have the same problem, I play on PC XBOX GAME PASS, I didn’t know where to write, so I’m writing here.
I tried all the settings of the inputs and outputs, the result is 0%.
I also can't hear the voice chat at all, and the microphone doesn't work either.

Can confirm it is. End game chased down a sonny fleeing for the exit with leatherface and killed him. Said gg in voice chat and he replied "suck my balls." 10/10 for realism.

This fixes nothing, just a heads up. Shows me as talking in game, no one can hear me. I can hear other people fine. I've reset and adjusted sound settings multiple times.
It even shows in the sound settings that Texas Chainsaw Massacre has access to the microphone. Everything else picks it up including the steam voice chat.

I (PC) can hear Playstation users, but not PC or XBox users. No Discord or anything else that'd be interfering. It's weird.

I actually just want to post an update to this thread and say I found the issue and it is now fixed for me. I had to go into window sound settings and right click and disable my headset mic as it was choosing that for an input in-game instead of my blue yeti. After I disabled it through there it worked and I can now communicate with other players. The devs should really add an input option for microphones for PC users on the game, as this would fix it for many instead of doing what I just described. Anyways good luck and I hope this fixed the issue for some of you guys!

I have a fix. At least it worked for me. Verify integrity of the game. Go into settings in game. Turn off voice chat & hit apply. Turn voice chat back on & hit apply. Immediately worked for me after.

Hey guys i had problems for days and just found the fix!!!

Go to Windows setting and troubleshoot your microphone there! You'll know you did it right if it makes you say a phrase tp troubleshoot it. :)
