Hope this helps.
That game supporting cross-platform is the only reason you'll get into matches.
Evil Dead is still a good game though, I for sure enjoyed it
Evil Dead: Although I wanted to enjoy this game, this game is not great at all due to the fact you need to level everything to max level to even remotely stand a chance. Horrible balance and somewhat jank combat but interesting demon mode.
DbD: Lots of movie licenses, so you get tons of people; along with killers; to choose from. The game is essentially a big ol' game of hide n' seek with special rules for tag. I personally never got much out of this game as it makes the killers feel weak (because you HAVE to sacrifice which is boring).
TXCSM: Limited amount of characters to choose from but in my opinion the best gameplay out of all of them. It has strategy like Evil Dead and the outplay potential of DbD. It seems fairly well balanced with lots of ways to win a game
Dbd = Scooby Doo simulator
Tcm = Bubba
DbD - This game is only still alive because of the popular movie licenses, the gameplay itself got stale and has been the exact same since 2016. The only updates are random balance changes, or paid DLC. Playing as the survivor gets boring, and the killers can feel insanely weak. Killer queue times sometimes took me 10-15 minutes.
Also let's just be honest, DbD is full of the most toxic people
TCSM - 3 Killers and 4 Victims, sounds like the killers have a huge advantage, but the game actually relies on communication with your teammates rather than anything else. Each side needs to play correctly as every character has unique perks, and communication is required to win. Being the killer sounds much more enjoyable out of all of these.
TTCM is clearly different, to me, i think it is better than the two others (i even played Dragon ball the breaker/resident evil resistance another tag, hide and seek games) because you will had a great potential to really play as a team : as killers or suvivors.
There is a lot of ways to escape (4 in the beta if i remember corectly) the game with specifics mechanisms to triger the end phase and all killers can close it behind you, so survivors need to repeat it or try to find another way. Each characters are specific with strenght and weakness and that's why you can be more strategic when you are playing it.
If you are playing with trolls you can even escape as survivor or kill as killer and it is really fun. You will have less situation where a player can be toxic and take your game in hostage like in Dbd and it's less linear as evil dead because as i said you will have 4 unique ways to escape on different map but only 3 killers and they need to put traps or mechanisms to slow the survivors' progression.
Bubba will start in the basement with the players trying to find them and destroying everything (doors, hatch, obstacles with wires etc) and the others killers outside puting lock on doors or run generators for electric fences etc and feeding grand pa with blood to scan the area. You will have different phases and always a way to escape fast of them as a survivors (well, windows ...) but they will heart themselves. Survivors must manage between medical supplies, lockpick, bone knives (to hurt and stun killers/grand pa), specials keys items to open an exit and they only have two slots. They can also interact with much more things to escape or hide for killers (lockers, chest, hatch, you can even lock doors when you are chased etc.) and a lot of them need some specials actions or even puzzles to solve.
It's clearly an interesting survival game that is more fun than all the other asymetrical games i played so far.
