Can't play the game on MAC OS
My mac has met the recommended specs for. But everytime i tried to play it crashed back to steam page after long blank loading time. Any fixes?

Hi @kimpirin, could you please send me your log file? That'll help determine what's going on.

You can find it by opening Finder, pressing CMD+Shift+G and then pasting the following path:

`~/Library/Logs/Kyle Banks/Farewell North`

In there you should see a file called Player.log

I have the same issue, but I'm running macOS 15 Beta 3.

Hi @venik, it looks like you're not launching the game through Steam, is that right? Are you launching the .app directly?

Hi Kyle, I'm starting it from Steam. I see the startup sequence, the last screen is "Game by Kyle Banks". After that I see a blank screen for a few seconds and then it goes back to Steam and automatically launches again and again. But as I said, I'm running the Mac OS beta, so that could be the problem.

Hi @venik, it does seem like it could be an issue with the beta, but there's something we can try.

If you go into Steam, right click Farwell North in your library and select Manage > Browse local files, you should see Farewell North.app. Can you please place this file directly beside that (it's important to keep the name steam_appid.txt, and that it's in the same folder as the .app): https://drive.google.com/file/d/17OxXFtKewAnLUS7gkMn__AtslaGz5Kj3/view?usp=drive_link

I'm not sure if launching from Steam will work yet, but I suspect launching the .app should. In the meantime I'll continue to investigate and see if I can find the cause.
