Needing help with coop local

The problem is, we can`t play with 2 controllers, we both have XBox Series Elite 2, both get found too, but only 1 controller want to play, while the other can`t.
We even tried other games and it works perfectly.
And if we go to the settings and controllers and try to set the controllers for P1 and P2, still only 1 controller can switch, while the other can`t and only the keyboard can switch too.

So is this a bug from the game or someting?

Hi, I have a few clarifying questions:
1. When you launch the game, before loading your save, is the main menu controllable by both controllers?
2. After loading a save, what does the 2nd controller do when you press A. It should either cause player 2 to join, or cause player 1 to attack if both controllers are mapped to player 1. If the controller is completely unresponsive, something may be wrong with the controller or its drivers.
3. When opening the in-game controller menu (Start>Controller>Y). Is controller 2 responsive here? Both controllers should be able to press left/right to assign themselves to player 1, player 2, or none.

Hi there,
1. Only one controller (the one that even can play as solo), is working on the menu. The other one, can`t do something.
2. Tbh, nothing does happen, when P2 presses A.
3. Yes and no, P1 can switch all sides, even the keyboard can switch too, but P2 does even have on himself a controller, but P2 can`t switch his controller, it appears, he can press A, as confirmation, but even after that, he still can`t join and can`t do anything, he can only confirm that.

We even tried to switch with the cabel the controllers, but then the same problems happens again, but this time, that controller that worked, does not work anymore, while the other, that didn`t work, now works.

Update from me to 2.
Both controllers are up to date now and still not working together.

Problem solved.

Steam somehow regonized only 1 controller with 1 Profil, while 2 controllers was connected with my PC and still worked somehow on other games.
Cause I tried so much, I somehow thought, maybe trying to use Bluetooth would help and so did it.
Steam regonize now both controllers with 2 own profiles(even with cable).
I also activated by Steam>Controllers the XBox help settings, maybe this done something too.

Anyways, thank you for helping.^^

If steam didn't recognize your controller until you used bluetooth, it's possible something is wrong with the USB cable or USB port on your pc.
