Why do the switching? Just put Gallop, water spray and dash on the ghost.

Because at the time of doing this challenge I don't have all 4 ability slots unlocked and the ghost's base movement speed is quite slow when compared to the rat/horse so running around in ghost would lose time. I don't think most people would have all slots unlocked too when first receiving this quest.

Switching is very difficult and inconsistent on the keyboard. I have all four ability slots, so better to do with one character. Also, for me switching characters so fast really messes up my playing. It causes me to freeze and gain my bearings.
