Sand is pretty tame, there are guns and cannons and stuff but there's no nudity, gore, drugs etc. For age rating purposes its similar to or lower than for Sea of Thieves or Fortnite. ( SoT and Fortnite are rated T for Teen for reference) But honestly like its fine for peeps below their teens. I assume you asked this cause you parent(s) said nuh-uh until its rated, so if the above didn't convince them just show them some game-play clips to help change their minds. Hope this helps.

i believe the reason for him asking is the German restrictions that require games on steam to have an age-rating to be played at all. so even if you (for now) put any agerating on it, that would mean SAND would show up on steamsearches in Germany. otherwise i believe that it stays hidden until the rating is applied.
