How can the developers think that putting BRAND new players in a map with people who have played longer was a good idea ?
Before you get a chance to figure out where everything is you get boarded by other players and killed by them.
How about making a tutorial intro or at least a spawning point where you cant get attacked until you leave the area... at least then you know what you are getting yourself into...

literally everything you complained about will probably be added. also? it took me like one evening to figure out basically every mechanic, if you dont understand whats going on, you need to play more similar games

its just a real misplan of the devs. They probably don't have the AI programmed yet so they thought PVP would suffice, but forgot that humans both plan and are unpredictable. Demo versions these days are just really sneaky versions of having you beta. At least fallout 76 had the gall to admit with their B.E.T.A.

a lack of criticism is one of the reasons the game industry is going through a second crash. And I'd say a demo is a PERFECT time to give criticism to improve any flaws before release since neither party loses anything from providing it.
The customer doesn't lose money, and the dev gets to save face by saying that its not a finished product.
The worry of "but muh reputation" is a psy-op by capitalists to muzzle dissent for an inferior product. If you truly believe in the market, let the market decide its fate through public opinion.

Giving Criticism and JUST NOT LISTENING to anything that anybody else says or thinks are 2 very different things, ALSO even critics do research into what they are talking about, and reference the things the devs have said not just trash on them.

THE DEVS call it a playtest, STEAM stuck the word DEMO on it for the sake of their event.
