I get that work around however I like my stuff sorted, guess its a wait for patch sorta thing. it is what it is.
The team are aware of this issue and we're hoping to release a fix for this today.
Will keep you updated!
Jay
I appreciate the community update on the topic especially for a demo. It has been one of maybe 2 things that have put me off so far ♥. Great game so far and really enjoying it with the squad.
Literally loaded the game up, saw that god awful decision and decided it probably isn't worth the effort
Remember the main focus of this discussing was the boxes bugging out and losing everything in them. Thankfully its known and being worked on.
No. That's not a feature, that's a ♥♥♥♥ up of galactic proportions...
There's just no need for it at all. Nothing to do with whether the walker is moving either... It's just one of the dumbass decisions some genius has come up with so they can be "different"
I don't know why you are so mad at something that is very common... It is literally the "Interact" button. Tab is the "Inventory" button. If that's a big issue for you, I suggest not playing most, if not all, extract shooters.
F will always open doors and containers. The smart thing literally every other game does is when you open a box, it automatically opens the inventory for you to pick stuff up... Cause it correctly assumes you probably aren't just opening it out of curiosity for a look inside, but to loot it.
And not a single one makes you hold a button while you do so.
It's awful design, plain and simple
