this experimental move funtion is annoying. Why these click to the point you will change to instead of our beloved WASD? First person meets point & click. It's awful.

In the intro it said a controller was recommended but it wouldn't sense my controller at all. I'm using an xbox series x controller. Also the page describes it as point and click, and while I got that from the movement in the demo, I'm uncertain why you'd go to the effort of making a 3d environment with interactable objects only to make the movement into hops, instead of just having the character walk. I like horror games but I'm a jumpy person so I tend to stay away from most 3d free movement horror games...
