This game has a solid core but don't let it fool you, it is not a survival game, it is a survival themed puzzle game. You need set items to win in a short time limit. If you pick up items in the wrong order, you will die. If you explore rooms in the wrong order, you will die. If you upgrade things in the wrong order, you will die. Right now this game is a speed runners dream but if you are looking for a survival game I cannot recommend this game right now, not without some significant balancing.

EDIT2 23rd Feb: the second patch that aimed to ease early gameplay has helped. It is far more enjoyable now, although I'd -still- would like the time to flow even more slower. But necessities are easier to come by now. It is better, but not in the sweet spot yet. I still have to explore a floor then die and load a save to do a speedrun of the floor so I can save a better footing for the next floor.

Day 1 review:
Interesting premise. The download took a looong time XD. I have played 2 hours and died five times. Kinda started from the beginning as no point loading a save when you know you are not going to survive. Have to learn all the ropes first. This game does things differently than many games. You REALLY need to unlock those workbenches to survive! I´ll update this later when I have played more. Graphics are amazing! This game even has mirrors working.

Some of the UI words are slightly off, English is not their first language. But I assure, when the thing says 'workbench needed' it actually means you need to have unlocked the workbench, it is not a language error.

Biggest issue what I have is the fatigue. I can't sleep. For some reason your fatigue must be 0% for you to be able to sleep, you also need fuel, food and water to sleep. And potatoe chips do not give any energy...

Read below some tips
- You cannot drop items or take back items from the water tank etc.

- You are in a time constraint, explore and note where everything is and then load a save to quickly collect each item. You DO NOT have time to wander about.

My observation is: you run out of food so fast, you basicly have only two ingame days per floor. You should load a save and try again if it took you more.


- There are no infinite resources, water is stagnant leftovers in the toilet basin or sinks. Once it is taken it is gone. Same with everything else.

- A food item does not fill you. Nope, they all help a little.

- To sleep you need to have the fire going

- Plants need two water bottles to grow

- Sawblade is fixed on the wooden workbench and the crowbar on the metal one

- This is not a FPS. At least with the nailgun, you need to be super lucky to take a Z down. I managed to do it with 8 shots on my day 3, but never managed to take another down again.

Unlock the workbenches the earliest you can, the water tank is not a source of water, it is a tank to filter water. You need the filter for this and the filter lasts one to two bottles (if you are lucky).

Got this looking for a survival exploration game where i could build up my base as I scavenge/explore a post apocalyptic world. If you are like me and think this game looks like a good fit of that description be warned, this is a 'survival' game in the sense that you are in a perpetual race against the clock and your hunger.thirst etc.. meters. Every couple seconds in game the day timer ticks forward by 10 minutes. You will go from full warmth to froze to death in less than 30 seconds outside at night. Hunger and thirst are similarly amped up. There is no tutorial or even control settings so you just kinda have to guess or go to discussions to figure out how to play.

Game has promise but the devs seem to think 'play perfectly or die while you race around to collect everything you need' is what makes a good survival game.

DO NOT BUY. I say again DO NOT BUY. The developer has not done anything with this game.

They said that there will be an update every month. Still waiting. Game is way to hard. Can't do anything except search for food and water. I die all the time because you can't find them. Wait to buy this game. It seems to me is that they received their money and now has forgotten all about us.

The game hasnt been updated since release. There are things that need to be fixed. Its a solid idea but the game just isnt really fun to play in its current state

Game had potential but has balancing issues that make it a chore.

This game had, and I stress HAD, so much potential. It's definitely challenging to say the least but it was a ton of fun trying to balance the different survival elements. At this point I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone as it's clear this was a money grab for this developer. There have been no updates and it would seem they have simply abandoned this game. I've completed the entirety of the game having seen where this game could go and to see where they just obviously stopped working on it and left out there as EA with a $15 price tag on it to just rake in money on the positive reviews that exist. Don't spend a dollar on this game unless they put out an update.

Fun game, it is quite different from other zombie games
Just it is really lack of the instructions.
I cant even figure out why i cant sleep in the game, the sleep button just faded. I dont know if it is a bug or just i needa do sth before sleep.
The introduction of the filter "filter the water and toxic gas", huh??? it cant even filter the dirty water, why?
Well, looking forward to the update, but now...emmmm....well, quite hard to play

If you are into having to find the exact path to finish a game perfectly then this game is for you. You have to strictly manage which resources to pick up and leave behind, 1-2 slightly wrong decisions can mean you fail because you spent to much time running back to put away material. Don't spend any time thinking about what you need or don't if you should eat or not. Should you waste time running over to plant food or not? The time you take to plant strawberries is about the amount of hunger you'll loose doing the farming. So all you've effectively done is waste time you should have been getting some key resource to finish the game on day 14.

There are literally probably only a few correct solutions to let you do what you need in time. With only 3 personal stats to manage and 20 odd resources you collect it is just a run and collect just what you need to progress game. Why do 3 strawberries take up just as much room in your inventory as 10 wood?

I'm completely unimpressed by this game. Pistol doesn't seem to be any more powerful than they nail gun and takes a lot more effort to make and its ammo is 100x more rare then the nails. <20 well placed nails to take out a zombie or you could do 10 head shots with the pistol.

I'm not for games that baby players but the basic mechanics of this game aren't very intuitive which costs you time in the game which will lead you to fail.

You might like this game but as it stands it has very few crafting options, forces you down particular paths, and penalises you for just happening to pick up the wrong things and going back to store the items.

The inventory management system is bad. You have shelves that you can store stuff in but might be better to just drop things on the floor in piles in your room. You basically need to carry 2 masks on your cutting down on one inventory slot in a already limited personal inventory system.

Finally don't think you can loot or even explore everything. There isn't enough time. The game seems to encourage you to play through multiple times to find out where the key pieces you need are then play through just running straight for them avoiding most of the content in your final play through.

14 in game days and the game is just over. Your decision if you like the sound of this. Was a waste of my money and I've got many games I've never played and don't think many of those were as much of a waste of money.
