Missing 1 Scargato and Chip, but entire map is explored

**EDIT** Can close this, Fatimahali found my missing Scargato!

There is also one room called "Fornax Storage" that had nothing in it of note. I entered it and it turned into a gold completed room, but was empty.

the last chip is acquired after beating the game, it might require the true ending but I am not sure.

Ive already got all 3 endings and 1 chip appeared by doing that

Can you keep playing and exploring after defeating the final boss?

Turning in the last scargato gives the last chip, so those two are related. There's probably just some small room somewhere you missed not having a gold border.

Yes, you load your file again and can go wherever still.

No, there is not a single room without a gold border besides the one with the Scargatos. I could upload all of the map here to show it but that will take a bit of work!

I don't remember fully but I think it was in a roof.

Regarding your map, it looks like one of the orange rooms(Badlands) is not gold yet.
The one under the blue room on the left of the map.

Thanks a lot! I had looked at this map room by room almost 10 times over and could not for the life of me see that.
