Killing Floor 3

Killing Floor 3

"Killing Floor" only in the name
No weight system for weapons, only primary, secondary and pistol.
No classes, but "specialists", basically a hero shooter.
Parkour and sliding is now a thing, lord knows why.
Console UI for PC.
Characters are annoying and definitely designed for the "modern audience".
Somehow worse graphics AND performance than KF2.
Battlepass, to a $40 game... welcome to "games as a service".
Hilariously easy difficulty.

At least the main menu music is good and the zeds seem to have evolved.

All in all, I get what the devs are doing. They wanted Doom multiplayer but mix in a quirky hero shooter, and slap the name "Killing Floor" on it for marketing.

If this was a new IP then I'd be fine with it, but this is NOT what any KF1 / KF2 player wanted and the results will speak for themselves on launch.

I'll be saving my $40, and definitely not looking forward to another thing in the future. Not just from Tripwire, but from any development studio for that matter. Thanks for the slop.

Nice buzzwords
Have you ever had your own original thought?

"basically a hero shooter" suuuure.... you realize killing floor 1 had classes with distinct abilitites...? this literally isn't new to killing floor
but yeah dude, this basically a carbon copy of marvel rivals - you're so right!

This sums up how I feel to a tee. Its so crushingly disappointing I feel sick to my stomach its like this.
my experience initially was great but i have noticed the same issues you did.

There's a difference between a hero shooter and a class based shooter that you fail to realize. Killing Floor 1 had no abilities, just passives. KF3 has active abilities and ultimates for each specialist. That's the difference.
