.ini graphics tweaking?
So, i've got a pretty old and bad computer and i'm not tryin to blow my savings on new parts right now. I was wondering if you could do the same thing i was able to do with KF2 and find some editable text files (like .ini files) to tweak how the game treats graphical rendering. Stuff like lowering the max resolution of textures, max poly counts, disabling unnecessary effects entirely, etc. Trust me, i'm a gameplay-before-graphics guy, it doesnt bother me that much making the game look like Vaseline, i just want the framerate to not hurt my eyes.

`C:/Users/YourUsername/AppData/Local/Nightfall/Saved/Config/WindowsClient`

You can create or edit `Engine.ini` and `Input.ini` there.

Here are some settings to try:

Yeah you can tweak the ini file. I would say its almost mandatory for a good experience.

Not sure about those specific options though. But the standard graphical settings can be altered in the ini.

Yep, it doesn't support 4k out the box so I had to force that resolution in the .ini file. I assume you could do the same in the other director and force a lower resolution not officially supported too. You can lower all the settings values to 1 or 0 and likely get at least a 'playable' experience. If you're really curious how the game runs there are keys for sale for like $0.10 for the beta.

So now my question is, where are those dangblasted ini files?

you gentlemen (or other) have just saved me an enormous headache. Also shoutout to the killing floor subreddit for having the "# users online" text set as "# shaders compiling"
