Killing Floor 3

Killing Floor 3 is just plain awful.
"This beta is a disaster, and the worst part? This is what the final game will be. What you see here isn’t a rough draft—it’s what you get, it's the full product with a fresh coat of "early access" excuses.

The gun system is an absolute joke. The game performance is obviously abysmal too can't get consistent frames it goes from 20 to 80 fps and when I locked it to 60, it still was stutters as all hell, the shaders took 10 minutes to compile and that was fine what's not fine is the performance.

Guns feel awful to use, no kick to them just laser guns.

Enemies don't react to anything it feels like the game is unresponsive when you shoot, no stagger, no impact, makes the whole game feel lifeless.

The netcode is atrocious, lag stutters game freezing no way this is one month before release.

Killing Floor 3 is an unpolished, glitch-ridden, vomit-inducing wreck. Within minutes, I had a pounding headache from the relentless visual glitches and speed-up bugs, the game doesn’t just play bad, it truly feels bad to experience. Do not support this lazy, soulless cash grab.

This isn’t a worthy sequel, it’s a corporate slaughter of everything that came before.

Please tell me this isn't true... I've been waiting to get into the beta. Are they pulling a Pay Day 3 moment??

I remember watching the Dev Diaries about KF2 before it launched and the pride they took in the attention to detail in the weapons. Then I saw some stuff on reddit with the Grenade Launcher weapon. The comparison between it and KF2's version is soulless...

if they are not dumb they gonna move this game onto this summer or next year, but if they don't they prob don't really care whenever the game is a big W and just looking for new jobs as we speak
Well... 8 hours and no net problems.

Thank you for the info! I'll try to get one myself to experience it but the things I'm seeing online and reading has me so heartbroken.... I hope they don't pull a Payday 3...

This is not true. If he wrote that the shaders took him 10 minutes, it means that he started game just 1 time and never turned it on again. Shader generation after first start takes 1 minute. Knowing this, it's easy to say that the rest of what this guy wrote is unbelievable because he probably played one round of the game and decided to write about it longer than he actually played.

this is not the final game. its a pre build. an early build of the game limited because its a beta. that's how betas work.

It's only about 5 weeks out. This is practically the release version. I can't imagine they change the things people are bringing up within 5 weeks.

A beta for a game which releases super soon. Why would they give us a poor beta to experience the game? How is that going to convince people to buy it? From experience, betas are good and somewhat polished to a certain extent, especially for a game releasing so soon.
The ideal move would be to delay the game as long as necessary to scrap the specialists idea and give us a more traditional Killing Floor experience. Sadly, that won't happen.

god this game is bad, and the heroes are insufferably cringe
I'm actually shocked that reddit feels that way. They're usually the most optimistic about anything and will downvote "negativity" and leave hate comments in your inbox. The Payday 3 subreddit, in particular, was not very welcoming of any discussion for a very long time until even they couldn't deny it any longer.

Is this your first beta? what you see is what you get 99% of them

Looking through the reddit yeah it's seemingly a lot of hate for how this game is turning out....

It is true.. KF3 is a game not created for the fans but for "everyone" which is not a good thing in business. That alienates the core buyers first and second you have to reach into the unknown. They shot too far with this game in terms of not making it KF or keeping it KF. I would suggest waiting another year when they finally listen to the vocal fans that have been very vocal for about 3-4 years now. So expect a dartktide, payday 3 moment of having to wait a whole year for the game to finally have a decent base.

Credit to them for allowing discussion.

I checked out TWI's official forums a few days ago and the only discussions were about how people are being negative and how the game looks great.
