Killing Floor 3

Killing Floor 3

All excitement gone honestly
Sorry but this doesn't feel like Killing floor, I understand the devs prolly wanting to do something else, but in trying so they lost all the unique things that made me fall in love with KF1 all those years ago.
- Maps feel claustrophobic and uniteresting
- Characters locked to specific classes - so instead of making fun interesting looking characters everybody gonna wear the same character locked cosmetics
- Unispired battlepass system - only good thing I can say about it that apparently it won't have any FOMO
- Positioning doesn't mean anything in the game anymore
- 2 main weapon lock and no weight system... and 4 weapons per class? Really?
- Weapons feel really...boring? and bulky?
- Readability of the enviorement and the enemy movement is really poor... Where are the full blown screams of Scrakes and Fleshpounds when they enter the map...

Game just feels very generic looking and feeling, and looking at how the battlepass works, and how little there are options for weapons etc I'm scared this will clearly devolve into an even worse experience than KF2 with it's paid weapon packs etc... Devs went really in a bad direction on this one I feel

what do you mean FOMO on the battle pass, are they doing something similar to marvel rivals?!

bro, he literally said the opposite..
This looks just like Killing Floor 2 the first couple months.
Im possitive about this, i feel like this game could get better with time just like KF2 did.

it looks nothing like kf2 in the first couple months... this game should just be a kf spinoff called nightfall or something, it has more in common with anime meme hero shooter cod-esque generic fps games than killing floor
welcome to console-centric FPS gaming

+1, not sure where he's drawing that comparison from. I loved EA KF2, hated how they massacred my boy afterwards.
The more I play this Beta the more disapointed I get with the game.
I dislike that it's not Killing Floor 2 and at the same time I kinda like it. It's a weird feeling for sure.

It's like a mixture of COD AW, Halo 5 sidestep with Doom and COD Zombies. But despite liking it, this isn't what Killing Floor is about. KF is it's own thing. It's too fast-paced. I wouldn't mind something slower. Either way, I hope it succeeds
What a mess. No good banter, downgraded gore system, shimmery smeary ue5 visuals, bad performance (4090), guns are crap, zed time is crap. Horror is COMPLETELY gone. Maps are all grey and lifeless.

This feels like a cyperpunk KF spinoff made by COD devs. Thank god the beta was free, helped me dodge a bullet.
This beta gives me that bad taste NMRIH 2 gave me

We've come a long way from the original UT2004 mod but it's just soul-less now

Dude I thought EA KF2 was rough and then afterwards I couldn't even look at it anymore.

This one is much worse than EA KF2. Can only imagine the circus this game will turn into with time.

Cannot recommend this after 1 single match of the beta. It feels a bit generic IMO. Characters, guns, maps, nothing feels unique or special. Not memorable at all. Plus it runs like absolute dogsh*t on PC. Game is severely lacking personality unlike KF2 which stood out in the zombie space. I don't see this game doing well unless it develops some personality that makes it unique fast. Honestly feels like it could have released on PS4 in 2014. This franchise is in big trouble because this is not worth 8 years of development time. I'm not sure how they can pull out a saving grace for this game because yikes. I own KF1 and KF2 and those are real games with real uniqueness. This is a certified disaster.

Depends on what you wanted from a game.

EA KF2 (before FB and Demo) was very challenging.

Scrakes required team takedowns because they could outrun everything except a Zerk and Medic if you raged them.

OP Afflictions (Freeze, stun, etc) didn't exist outside of the Zed Time skill "Zed Sedative" for Medic.

There were no trash-clearing classes so everybody had to be on point.

The game required a lot of skill, communication, and teamwork.

It was the type of game that you would make a bunch of friends and develop long-term relationships.

Then it got progressively easier and dumber to the point where all the good players left because it no longer challenged them.

I remember when Berserker was basically unplayable LOL it was actually kind of fun to try to figure that out.

But what really screwed the pooch for me in that game was the teleporting zeds, which existed because of sprint. It seems with every interation of this game they mess with the movement and BECAUSE of that they need to tweak everything else.

It upsets me also that Fleshpound becomes further and further from what it once was; a large walking "don't open until christmas" package that will punish you heavily for not respecting its mechanics. In KF3 it can simply be dodged.
