Killing Floor 3 isn't Killing Floor
There's so many things wrong with this game. So many unnecessary changes that add nothing to the experience. And so much more that was removed from the previous Killing Floor.

The mo-capped firing and reloading animations from KF2 that let you see each moving part of your gun during Zed-time in full detail? Gone. Every gun feels weightless now.

Shooting the head off of a zed and watching it stumble around blindly before collapsing to the floor? Gone. Every zed now ragdolls upon death.

Every class having a unique knife they could use to block when rushed by a Scrake or Fleshpound? Gone. Everyone can now slide around the map to easily dodge everything.

Guns having weight allowing everyone to use any combinations of guns so long as they had space? Gone. Two guns and a pistol. Take it or leave it.

And what the hell happened to Foster? Why does he sound like he went through puberty backwards? He's completely unrecognisable as a character. All that British confidence has been replaced with monotone and forgettable quips.

Speaking of which, why does every character have the same tone of voice? There's no urgency or emotion in any of them. Previously getting set on fire would cause your character to start screaming for water. Now it's like they don't even care.

Oh, and who the ♥♥♥♥ decided that locking classes behind specific characters was a good idea?!?! All this does is remove the player choice that existed in the previous game.

And why was every character from KF2 replaced with boring, generic, characters with the most uninteresting outfits I have ever seen? These clowns look like they belong in Concord!

I could go on and on. But I think you get the point. If the "Killing Floor" brand wasn't attached to this game I would have no clue it was even part of the series.

This game gona flop hard, im out
Honestly, I wouldn't care if this game wasn't titled "Killing Floor 3". If they really wanted to go in this direction, just call the game "Nightfall" and don't waste time/money developing this as the sequel to KF2.
Im not sure if I can get over the animations
Animations feel very junky and unrensponding as they should.

Lol. First thing my friend and I did was go "...oh wtf happened to Foster's voice? WHERE'S HIS LINES. MONEY MONEY MONEY~????"

gunplay feels limp. Sound effects are awful too. Tying the classes to characters is just....why?? No more WELDING THIS DO-AH. Limited syringes. No healing each other??? Who is this game for? It feels like a downgrade from KF2 in every single way. And hell, I never liked KF2 as much as I did KF1 in the first place.
Unreal is still ghetto gamers haven and they don't even know. A very shallow depiction of an old game again... But now, the testers are too.

I agree. I think they have moved too far away from what made Killing Floor Killing Floor. That said I am enjoying KF3 still and will most likely buy the game.

a lot of people dont like it and thats fine, its more of a cod-esque anime meme hero shooter with questionable mechanics than it is killing floor

they shouldve just named it nightfall and release it as a spin off or something, then i wouldnt really care that much

The guns aren't class-locked.

Thanks for the correction. Post has been updated.

This is the first post I've seen here with solid feedback and I agree with all your points. Hopefully the devs read it.
This is the biggest flop I've ever played in my life, and I played Payday 3. Let that sink in...
