As much as I like having more enemy types, that act like the Evil DARs do (different weaponry, different weakpoints, unique counters), the Evil DARs were poorly designed and feel unfitting to the given thematic of shooting zombies/augmented mutants.
If you see the description for KF3, you realize it takes place many years in the future. So more likely they will.
Since the final mission for KF2 is about us killing the real Hans Volter, Matriarch is still out there on the loose with her eDars.
Hopefully, it will be different on the 2091 setting.
A future without robots? k
Point is, I think they are smart enough at this point to realize that EDARs were not appreciated considering how many servers chose to disable them. They will be changed at the least.
makes ZERO sense without them
anyone complaining is a literal skill issue can't move their mouse cursor or devise a way to shoot around zeds meta nerd.
they're the vibe check for any decent player in KF2. If you literally cannot counter them then you're probably getting carried or dragging the whole team down.
counters:
zerker = melee them during zed time or just simply use a nailgun or buzzsaw one of the few reasons to even get the nailgun.
medic = no worries focus on healing and let someone else take care of them once they get closer or dart speed boost literally anyone else to close the gap and come back safe and sound.
support = shoot through zeds edars take shotgun damage bonus damage
demo = explode many zeds again extra damage explosives
firebug = ballistics or just melt them or microwave them
commando = ignore them and zed time extension someone else to get them for you
swat = pewpewpew stumble with legs on zeds aim for edars once they all get away from the center
sharpshooter = focus on other zeds or use the lock on railgun. Or even 1 m99 antimaterial rifle round will literally down them or at least remove their helmet / head.
GS = just run up and shoot them
survivalist = take your pick.
in all instances aim for the chest for an emp or head if you're super super super precise and can actually headshot from a distance instead of spamming.
They are just not satisfying to kill at ALL and the constant rocket and laser spam is annoying
on that note i think swat gunslinger and abomination are annoying and unsatisfying to kill but i don't flat out want them removed
If you see the description, it also says that this is a "biomechanical" meneace. BIO-mechanical.
