I imagine the Berserker will continue to depend on ranged weaponry despite his melee focus
Perhaps the passive skills could allow the sharpshooter to choose between a Sharpshooter or Gunslinger playstyle, or if high-level play permits it, a mix of both.
Either way, my prediction for Sharpshooter in KF3 is you'll either have dual pistols secondary/rifle primary, or dualies primary/rifle secondary
The most mobile, tanky perks slammed into one.
Mafia goon who got frozen in an ice block after being dumped off a boat for being rat but was framed. Washed up on the shore of wherever kf3 is taking place idk. Got revived through epic future technology. He specializes in holding a gun in each hand, profanity, and making gravy for himself and his new family.
Sharps/Gunslinger focused
I hope they shift away from melee only being useful one class to being situationally useful on every class for variety. For this reason I think they should remove melee specialists in favour of the Emplacement/Turret Gun specialist, which they've said will be in maps.
I guess it's no different from a fighting game roster. But this isn't a fighting game.
That's my plan as well. KF2 is currently my most-played game on Steam on my 20 year old account with over 1,300 games. Sadly, KF3 is not for Killing Floor fans, they're trying to appeal to a new audience.
What really sucked was splitting the perk into Slinger and Sharp.
I'd very much welcome a more competent class with akimbo/precision loadout combos instead of one or the other.
