Since the game is made using Unreal Engine like Payday 3 and more to come because of the Unity fiasco you can expect more companies will use EOS.
If it drops on Epic first i'll probably just break and get it there, but theres always so many games you could be playing that waiting a year to play just results in you paying less for a more developed and expanded product. (and usually some tweaks to make progression faster)
