AI art as the cover?

Simply wondering if AI was used for the title cover art as the person with orange hair has 5 fingers on one and 4 on the other, if yes im also wondering why, you clearly have a talented artist who made the portraits in game already

Both hands have 5 fingers it's just that there's a very thin slit between the middle finger and ring finger, they look like they're joined together a bit but there's definitely a line there.

And I can 100% guarantee that an artist did that, with no AI use whatsoever.

For an early access game like this I will wait for a little bit time before buying it. But I don't really like the art of this game, it's personal matter but I lean more to the pixel art or detailed art than this type of simple, lego dolls style.
