University, City Reputation, & Bus Stops!

I have seen that the University progress rewards have not been showing up and I experienced that as well. But I completed my degree and got kicked out of University without any prompt saying I finished. So, yay I graduated, but what can I do now?

Why does it take so long to progress the city reputation? I feel like the points I have accumulated should have added up to at least level 2 but no, I'm still trudging along trying to find things to do to elevate it.
I also have a bunch of furniture gifted to me or that I can craft, that I can not open or unlock due to the city level. Thus this causes storage issues for me.

I also have rebuilt the bust stops and I tried to actually take the bus but the bus never came. My little sim sat at the bus stop for over an hour on a weekday and the bus was supposed to run every 30 minutes.

Also there is no way to get apps from the Electronics store. I have checked daily for the subscriptions app and its never available.

All in all, I really like playing this game, I just wanted to point out some frustrating points from my game play. If anyone has any input that would be greatly appreciated.

same there i wait more then 3hours just to see if i can take bus but nothing never come u can wait long time

for the bus stops you need to open the map after you sit and pick what stop you will like to go to and then it will pop up with the waiting hour glass and work

Same, for everything.

I love this game but honestly so many things are not working or have bugs. they should have developed it more before releasing the early acess at this state.

I relate to everything you are saying and hoping our voices are all heard! They should fix a whole lot of this, all of it is making me stress out too. I only noticed that when you get furniture or clothing etc that you need to be at your home and then look in your inventory then just click them and they should be available in build mode then

check the board in the school for the rewards. - thats how i got mine.

I feel you on this the grind is real from 1 to 2. like i didn't even feel like i tried for 1 but for 2 its a struggle
The only way i found around storage is see if you can build the blue card storage ( i think diy needs to be 3-5 for it to unlock) and use that to store your items. you can use the bench to store your components, etc.

I still can't even get into the university yet. What exactly do I need to do?

Bus: Also haven't been able to use the bus but didn't know about using the map with it. Once while I was waiting on the bench it stopped right in front of me and I got excited. Nope! Traffic light. 🤬

The university becomes available after you finish Chapter 1. You should get a Letter in Your Mail at some point.

As for the Bus, You have to fix all the Bus Stops before You can use it properly (also a chain of quests that should trigger at some point)

Quick question, how long does it take to graduate in the game? My character had been attending lectures for about 3 weeks in game time. To be honest, am getting bored of it. I rather be free to go about doing what I enjoy most i.e. fishing, dumpster diving and painting in the park. Will the university notify us if we have completed the course?

As far as I remember, I do have all the bus stops fixed.

What brings about the end of chapter 1? I mean other than getting this letter I’ve yet to receive.

Check the board it says i think 150 hours. so if you only go to 1 lecture a day for 5 days thats 20 hrs, if you've done that for 3 weeks thats 60 hours.
on the other hand if you've done double classes a day (outside of friday cause tests) thats 40 hours ( 1 evening class on friday; also if you do well on the tests you get bonus hours) do that for 3 weeks and you'll get 120 hours (+whatever your test results) I started college on my 2nd or third week of spring and graduated during the summer festival week.
