Stuck on restocking quest

Anyone else stuck on the restocking quest? It tells me to put 3 water bottles in my basket, but doesn't count them and I can't check out or leave the store because it says i don't have everything in my basket. I tried adding the eggs and toilet paper too but it's not recognizing that anything is in there.

Sorry to hear that!
We've had a report from another player that it's happening so we're looking to solve it quickly.

In the meantime, a player reported that to pass this quest, you can go by the entrance of lets go and interact with the baskets to "return all items" even if your basket is empty. This will reset the basket and recognize the items you put in after that.

Same is happening to me, even after emptying my basket

I tried putting them back and it didn't work, then it did. I ended up using the SOS app to try again.

Also impacting me. I’ve tried everything, the SOS thing, emptying my inventory, resetting the basket. Can’t progress. I’ll have to wait for the patch I guess.

I found out that if you open your bag while at the shelf, it counts the items you add. So walk up to the shelf where the item is, open your bag (you should see your cart and bag at this point) and then add the items and it will count them.

Me too!! I'm having the same issue and I'm so sad!

same, counted the water but won't count the eggs. Resetting still keeps the count for the water even with an empty basket but the eggs still don't count.

For me, opening the backpack before putting water or eggs into the basket worked (steamdeck oled). Still, now I can't check out bc even if I got it all items checked in the quest log, the option to check out is greyed out as if the items weren't on my basket. But here I can't interact with Yuna when opening the backpack, so I'stuck again.

OK I found a solution that worked for me: as said, for me it worked by opening the inventory right before choosing the goods, BUT as soon as I put the eggs into my basket, the toilet paper got checked as taken too. This led to not being able to check out, but as soon as I put toilet paper into my basket anyways, the option for checkout became available.
