Little Sim World

Little Sim World

Steam Deck not playable, at least for me
I tried and everything seems fine till iam actually loading into the first scene with the bus and start at the bus stop, from there i only get 1 FPS and everything is lagging as hell.

What's Interesting is that when i tab out, the game runs smoothly in the backround but as soon as i tab back in, i only get 1 FPS again.

Hi Nagi!

Thanks for the comment. We're aware there's current problems with the steam deck version and are working to fix it as we speak. We're hopefully going to push out a hotfix patch very soon, so stay tuned!

Thank you~

The same thing happens to me. The whole game run perfectly, except as soon as there is a cinematic and when loading to enter the game, It takes at least 5 minutes and if it doesn't crash.

Have you tried to skip the cutscene?

The first scene of the bus was very buggy but while waiting a lot, with many drops of fps the scene ended and I was able to play. But the second scene with Simon is unplayable.

I don’t know how to skip cutscene or dialogue…

Could you all please check if you're running Proton? Perhaps it's forcing the game to run the windows version through proton instead of the Linux verison.

I restarted the game with the default settings, without any accounting options. I managed to play Simon's dialogue while waiting. Now I can play !! and the other cinematics / dialogues have no problem (at least in the grocery, except for a small quest bug with the basket but it's entirely playable for the moment )
Thanks :)
how do you bind it or make it so you can use the controller?

No the controller is not entirely well done, but it’s playable. I haven't made any changes, but it's complicated to get out of the phone.
And finally most of the cinematics freeze for me ( stuck at 1 fps , touch on the screen allows you to switch the dialogue, the A button does not work well )

Switching back to the "Keyboard and Mouse" layout fixed this for me. The cut scenes do not lag anymore. You can still use the controller to walk and interact with stuff, just the controller icons do not show (make also sure to set in game controls to "automatic" and not "controller"). Plus you can use the mouse trackpad too to interact with the menus. It's not as convenient but the game is totally playable for me like this.
Is it playable was thinking about getting this but I only play on my steam deck.

Game didn’t even get past the character creation. Can’t add a character name! So disappointed

Hey sorry to hear this, could you tell me when you are crashing, and it's single player, windows?
