I thought Mimimi Games closed?
The art style and gameplay are very similar. I'm glad more of these games is coming, even if I will have to quick load 1E10 times

This game has a lot of similarities with Mimimi's games. I'm inclined to speculate this game's developer is employing people who worked at Mimimi, but have no basis on that other than game feel.

Yeah Mimimi closing sucked, it was one of very very few studios that just constantly put out great games imo, let's hope Artificer can pick up the torch and keep it going because these type of games are immensely fun, and allow you to do all kinds of creative stuff. I just finished the demo and it's pretty solid already, the only thing I'm kinda iffy on is the crates that level up your abilities. I'm not sure if I like them or not, because they change your cooldowns/ability ranges. I keep forgetting that I can use certain tactics that didn't work in the beginning, because the range was to short or the effect didn't last long enough. That may be something that I just need to get used to though, and it does give a bit of progression to your abilities, which these games don't usually have. Anyway I Wishlisted it, and will definitely be checking it out when it releases.

Loved it! I was surprised by how directly you copied Mimimi's homework, but as they're gone, it's only a good thing.

The performance was kinda crap and I couldn't find any way to check how many saves I had left on the Hard difficulty. And Rosa's Disperse skill was completely useless. But I really enjoyed the demo.

Nah, we admire those guys' work but they were not in any way involved in the development of our game.

Yeah, it's one of the reasons why we were very hesitant about adding skill progression to the game but we just tried it and we were happy with the result.

You also get to keep the skill upgrades when you replay levels. We felt that that would be a nice way to mix things up when you go back to complete optional challenges that you didn't get the first time.

Yeah, sorry, the limited saves in the demo are a bit of a work in progress.

played the 2nd level half midway clear left side. killed enemies with truck then go down where medkit and three enemies( soldier, officer, soldier) use view cone on anyone fo them. i don't what is happening here but games keeps freezing for 1-3 seconds every 20-30sec fps goes to 0. also game doesn't take input when it's frozen. unplayble. this didn't happened in earlier level. not even in first mission(ice level). reloading or restarting doesn't fix the problem. camera feels restricted in this game compared to other similar games like can't zoom out enough to view whole good loking maps.

also this crash happen 1st time

Okay, I think I know what that is. The 20-30 second interval suggests that it's the autosaves.

We're looking into ways to optimize the saving and we're also planning to improve communication that the game is being saved so people immediately know what's causing those hiccups.

In the meantime you should be able to bypass that issue by disabling autosaves in the game's settings (first entry in the Gameplay section). You will have to remember to regularly save the game manually, though. We do not currently have a popup that reminds players to do a quick save.

We'd be very grateful if you reported back whether disabling autosaves does indeed stop the regular freezes, so we know if those were the cause.

I'm excited for this. Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3 were some of my fav games in years, and Showgunners was awesome. Let's go!

i tried again after disabling autosave and situtation got worse it's happening more often now. every 5-10sec and freezes are longer upto 10sec. some other information may help with fixing the issue also checked task manager when game freezes it's shows not responding can hear ingame audio and upto 8gb memory usage. here's video https://gofile.io/d/X4Bfjt if u wanna check out i think autosave is not the issue. maybe some kind of memory leak.

It's a pretty good game. Part of the magic of the last Mimimi-games is missing, but hey, they were almost gods in their field. The Demo had some issues (sended in-game-bug-reports), I expect a good 8 out of 10 game, if there is enough time for polishing (no pressure ;-)
