Main quest: where to go?
Okay. I finished the quest with Maruth's toolbox and main quest icon is disappeared. There are also no tasks in the menu. What should I do? I already ran through all available locations, but there are a lot of vines that doesn't take any damage from weapons.
What should I do?
I really don't understand where to go and what to do.

P.S.: Also, I would complain: it's annoying to run all over all locations looking for human-bird eggs. They placed in some random places I would not even guess in lifetime. Just put the mark on the map where the item lies, save my precious lifetime! If there are players who do not want to see these marks - you can implement option in the menu "hide quest marks".

After giving Maruth his toolbox back, you're supposed to explore the area to the right. Eventually you should run across a door with a broken handle, which you need to locate a replacement for. After getting past that door, several areas later, you'll run into a similar door with a yellow energy field. No need to repair that one, that's where the area's boss is. After beating it, you'll get the ability needed to go to the next area.

Exploration is the main focus of every metroidvania game. Just remember to hit walls which look like they might hide a secret (not so easily missed like in similar games) and well... try every passage you can reach.

Thanks a lotl, I'll try! I had a problem with vines that are not taking any damage, even from fire. It required a restart of the game.
Also, It's something in the design of the game that makes me not understand what to do next 'cos it doesn't look obvious enough. I've completed a fair share of Metroidvania games in the past (last three games in Shantae series, both Ori, etc) and there was no such problem.

The only game where I personally had a similar problem was "Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night". Had to consult walkthrough videos.

As for this game: Fire always burned through the passage barriers in the first zone in all of my runs, must've been an exception on your end (they happen). If something like that happens again (something the game tells you to do doesn't work), make sure to report it in the bug thread.

Yeah, Bloodstained is a complicated thing. I also had to use solutions and youtube videos to progress through the game.

I thought bugs should be reported if they can be replicated. If this bug will rise its ugly head again, of course, I'll report)

My brother in christ, how much handholding do you need? You're struggling in the tutorial

You can arrogantly babble all you want, but it doesn't change a thing and doesn't help at all. I wish your colleagues tell you that phrase "My brother in christ, how much handholding do you need? You're struggling in the tutorial" 10 times per day - just for you to understand that arrogance is idiocy.

If the game designed at some point as "look for something" this something in tutorial should be obvious. If it's not - it's a bad tutorial, cos it makes you running rounds without understanding what to do.

If tutorial asks you to find something randomly scattered around the map with no proper understanding how the item looks and where you can find it - it's a very bad tutorial, cos it makes you running rounds without understanding what to do.
