Steam Next Fest is over, and we want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who played the demo and also those who took the time to create content during the event! We were blown away by the excitement and the awesome feedback you shared. Your support means everything to us.

So, jump back in, explore the latest updates, and keep those insights coming. Speaking of updates, here are some of the improvements we made to the game this month:

We rolled out detailed breakdowns for several key financial figures to help players better understand what really drives their business's core numbers.

Hopefully, these insights would help players manage their resources more effectively and make decisions that could significantly improve their operations, offering a clearer picture of where to increase efficiencies or cut costs.

The demo now begins with an engaging introductory scene from Master Lee sharing his quest for a successor. From starting with a single food truck to becoming a business mogul, Master Lee's story sets the stage for the player's journey.

One feedback we encountered repeatedly throughout the fest was to improve the ordering process. Consequently, we made the inventory calculator readily accessible from day zero and removed it from the list of researchable items.

To keep things interesting, it’s now available on a pay-per-use basis, and the fee is based on the total cost of inventory orders.

While this adjustment speeds up the ordering process right from the start, its cost component also adds a pinch of financial spice, encouraging players to strategize their pennies as wisely as their patties.

This was another big one from the event! We heard loud and clear that it's important to get a closer look at the actual buying and selling activity during the day. We've now added a zoom functionality that allows players zoom in to see more details or pull back for a full view of the action.

A number of players also struggled to complete the basic recipe goal because the quantity requirements weren’t as memorable as we thought. To improve this, we implemented a friendly tip that pops up when players get close to the goal.

• Transferred monologues and customer reaction animations to the object pool for better gameplay performance.

• Localized the new recipe goal guide.
  
• Adjusted the demo difficulty for a more balanced experience.
  
• Removed obsolete game scene parameters from wishlist and friends invite analytics, allowing invites directly from the main menu.
  
• Added new analytics events for clicking wishlist or friend invite buttons within the game.
  
• Animated the arrow in the recipe goal guide.
  
• Refined the recipe goal guide with improved theming and added visual highlights.
  
• Integrated the goal guide into the recipe view, which now disappears after completing the recipe goal.
  
• Fixed the active goal icon theme and added a rotation animation to it to attract attention.
  
• Restored the highlight for active goals to improve clarity.

• Added tooltips to the main menu.
  
• Made Australia and Canada available as playable regions.
  
• Fixed the staff tooltip for accuracy.
  
• Added tooltips to the "Invite Friends" buttons in the end demo screens.
