Yes there is a big red "battle" button that never does anything - you can deploy/undeploy mechs, slap reactors in em (that you assemble), setup your weight and everything, but the battle button does nothing?

Using the demo/beta? I assume it just doesn't work?

Go to Pilot roster, click and drag a pilot to the corresponding mech.

Select an area that is next to your base that is currently hostile and then you'll be able to deploy. You'll have 4 open slots, click and drag a mech with its pilot inside to the deployment slot. Must have at least 1 mech to sortie.

Alright, I was missing the drag pilot step.
