Red Flower

How do you collect the red flower at the Grove? I have the stepladder, I have the sickle on a stick, I have the machete. Nothing seems to work. What am I missing? Thanks.

I think it's a day-time only activity, so that might be one thing to check out.

From the guides,,,,, Red Flowers / Red Hibiscus - Found in the Grove area (further in the Gas Tanks area) - you'll need to make a Ladder (Bamboo and Rope - you can get the Rope from Karen).

Once you put the stepladder there it stays your other listed items are used for other tasks. Yes it is daylight event.

Something has to trigger this event getting you to do all this but I've not found that yet. It happens early in the game.

Quest Description: Reyna needs more flowers!
The closest flowers you can get is in the Gas Tanks area, the white ones which is hidden behind some leaves. Click on it to clean it up.
Click on the white flowers to initiate a similar minigame as the red ones and you'll get Amaryllis.
Head over to the Ridge, and to save you some time, check both the Overlook and the Planewreck and interact with the Yellow and Pink flowers respectively. This will save you the trip.
Return to Karen and purchase the Gloves and Bug Spray (2 $Sex chips total)
Once you have the items, you can safely interact with the flowers. For the yellow one, click on the bees and interact with it again to get Sunflowers. For the pink ones, clear the thorned vines and you'll get Orchids.
Give all of the flowers to Reyna to complete the quest.

Click on the red ones to start the mini game, the ladder you built gets you up but all I do is get to them on the ground and click on the flowers to start the collecting minigame. The minigame matches pairs of like flowers. Have fun!
