Just started the game today, not much in. I notice Miss Italy is named Andrea - but in Italian that's an almost exclusively masculine name!

On the same topic, bit further in the game: the Ukranian version of the name is actually Olha (a lot of things that are "g" in Russian are "h" in Ukranian). Although I guess if you called her that a lot of people would assume it's a typo.
So far it's been very funny and I've learned a lot about mechanical stuff. Wish I could avoid interacting with Emily though, or that we could have some more reasonable variety of capitalist that recognises that markets are better suited to long term distributions rather than short term crises. When we get off this island I'm going to sue the pants off of Mr Cruz

(Emily (the girl in my avatar) is the main LI in Love of Magic, and she's the least Karen like character you can imagine :)

Yeah I got confused and went by the name I gave.
I feel the name "Karen" was chosen because of the memes around that name, and I find them... pretty mean spirited and unfair to people named Karen. So I went with some other really common name. Nothing against the name Emily, I've known plenty Emilys both good and bad.
