Why did I get kicked out of town at the full moon ceremony?

I got to the part where we do the full moon ceremony and nothing happened and I was kicked out of town. I'm not sure why I got this ending? Up to that point the game felt very structured and guided so I had assumed that as long as I made and delivered my potions every day and checked in on everyone that everything would work out. So I was surprised to get booted out half way through the plot.

Did I miss some element of gameplay? Were my dialog choices more important than I thought? Was I supposed to romance more than one person at a time? The only other thing I can think of is that the first time I made an item I made for Jonas I didn't give it to him until the next day (he wasn't answering his door, I wasn't sure if something needed to happen further along in the plot that would trigger him coming to the door or what and I was worried that just leaving the potion would mean that I'd have to make it again). But I delivered it the next day and as far as I can tell it didn't cause any issues so I'm not sure if that was it.

While I enjoyed what I played so far (and I was looking forward to figuring out what was up with the crystals and sensing colors around people) I'm not willing to play it again unless I know what I did wrong so I can get past the full moon ceremony. It doesn't seem like it would be much fun on repeat so I don't want to do that unless I know I'll be able to get to the next part of the story. Any advice appreciated, thank you!

So, when Jonas isn't answering the door you should actually leave the potion outside. It'll trigger the event properly then. I think you have to deliver all items same day they are requested if you want to progress past the Full Moon Ritual.

I know you asked this ages ago but I just got the same ending and I have no idea what I've done wrong. I crafted every potion, I managed to make pretty good progress with everyone (or so I think, it's kinda hard to tell with how full of themselves our witch is) and I checked in on everyone, kept my garden in check, etc. I have no idea what could have been wrong. It's not very clear at all.

I have exactly the same situation right now. And I am wondering the same questions. Is it all because of one delayed delivery... Because it seemed like folk likes my character, wtf happened

Yes, same here. When the game offers me to bring the potion later, because no one is there, why should I assume, this game is lost? I mean, not letting a potion lying around for everone to see and use, seems logical to me? I´m so sad right now. I dont want to get through all the texts I know already to see the true end.
