Hey renmaster_10,

I was able to get your dxdiag from the link in your deleted comment, as Steam is currently still analysing the new link.

Let's first check that your AMD drivers are up to date:
  1. Go to http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx
  2. Install ‘AMD Driver Autodetect’ application.
  3. Select yes on to allow the application to run if the prompt appears.
  4. Select ‘Download Now’ and follow the steps to install the driver.
  5. Restart your computer, if necessary after the installation of drivers.
Then, please check for pending updates for your system via the steps below:
  1. Select the Start button
  2. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
  3. Select Check for updates
  4. After installing the update, select Check online for updates from Microsoft Update
And if that doesn't help, to reveal any possible issues with your Windows system, we would like to recommend that you please attempt the following actions:
  1. Open the Windows Start Menu
  2. Type “cmd”
  3. Right-click on Command Prompt > Run as administrator
  4. Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes
  5. Press Enter
  6. If the process has revealed/resolved any issues, please attempt to run the game again
Get back to us when you can.

Hi I have done all the things you suggested but I still get the game hanging when trying to load into the 3rd mission.

It now also crashes when trying to load an early save on mission 2.

One crash had a message come up saying 'phone experiencehost.exe system error exception processing message 0xc0000005 - Unepexted parameters '

Hey renmaster_10,

Thank you for trying those steps!

Can you please follow the steps in the link to perform a clean boot?[support.microsoft.com]
A clean boot is being used to start your Windows device using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
  2. Click More Details.
  3. Select the Startup tab.
  4. Right-click on each item and select Disable.
  5. Press Windows Key + R.
  6. Type msconfig and press Enter.
  7. On the Services tab click to select the Hide all Microsoft services checkbox, and then tap or click Disable all.
  8. Click Apply and restart the computer.
Once this is done please launch the game to see if the issue still continues.

To re-enable your start-up programs:
  1. Follow the steps above again but enable all of your programs and services.
  2. Then click Apply and restart your computer.
Get back to us when you can.

Hi it works after doing the last suggestion, now to work out which application was causing the issue?
Team17_Assist May 19, 2023 @ 2:42am
Hey renmaster_10,

Thanks for your reply.

We're glad to hear that this has helped resolve the issue.
We'd recommend re-enabling them one by one and testing the game.

I understand this is time-consuming but it would be the only way to know which application was causing the problem.

Thank you for your support and patience.

Regards,
Team17 Support
