Sound/Graphical Stuttering
DESCRIPTION
There is a sound and graphical stutter throughout the game -- it begins right at the start of the game once the game begins playing music. The stutter exists in the pointer as well -- moving it around causes it to flicker for a brief half-second every few seconds.

Going into a game, the stutter persists in every animation -- so the entire graphics package. The sound stuttering persists in all sounds as well, from voice, ambient, music, etc.

The steps required to recreate the issue
Open the game; it happens EVERY time. Cannot seem to play the game without the stuttering.

Any attempts to work around the issue, if applicable
There have been no workarounds I have found.

I have done the simpler fix attempts:
- Uninstall/Reinstall
- Driver updates
- sfc /scannow
- Reinstalled the game on another SSD
- Changed all graphical settings to low
- set Steam and the game to run as admin
- Changed some settings in the NVidia Control Panel (like in other threads)
- Restarted Computer
- Verified Game Files

Here is my DXDiag [jpst.it]

Thanks for sharing your dxdiag with us in advance!

We can see a few different game and application crashes in your system.

Can you please follow the steps in the link to perform a clean boot?[support.microsoft.com]
A clean boot is being used to start your Windows device using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
  2. Click More Details.
  3. Select the Startup tab.
  4. Right-click on each item and select Disable.
  5. Press Windows Key + R.
  6. Type msconfig and press Enter.
  7. On the Services tab click to select the Hide all Microsoft services checkbox, and then tap or click Disable all.
  8. Click Apply and restart the computer.
Once this is done please launch the game to see if the issue still continues.

To re-enable your start-up programs:
  1. Follow the steps above again but enable all of your programs and services.
  2. Then click Apply and restart your computer.
Get back to us when you can.

It starts when the music does? Does turning music off change anything? I assume you've restarted PC as well, and verified game files. Nothing strange on the performance graphs (Task Manager)?

Correct. I've verified the game files and I shut down my PC every night (w/o the fast boot option), but I've used the restart function a few times specifically for this problem.

Turning off the found does nothing for the graphical stutter, which is sync with the sound stutter.

Hello,

This seemed to have helped identify the main problem. It looks like I had Razer's Surround Sound as my main audio driver and it was causing interference with the game. Once it was uninstalled and all other normal services were enabled, the problem went away.

I'm unsure exactly why this caused a graphical issue, though.

Weird. Well, glad it's fixed!
