where are the difficulty settings?

I'd like to enjoy the campaign but it's too hard for me. i know most ppl will just say "git gud durrr".... well i don't want to git gudd. I just want to play through the campaign for fun. I don't have the time to replay the same missions over and over.

One thing that will help immensely is to figure out the game's triggers. For example, when you rescue Edwin it triggers a next part of the gameplay. So there is no big hurry to do this. You beat the timer, but before actually moving on, build up your forces more.

Or maybe go scouting further and take out a future threat before it is triggered to attack you. There should be several such things that can help get past harder missions by being aware of what triggers the next whatever and spending some extra time optimizing your base or getting more troops or whatever.

You can ask for specific advice or search for it in this forum as many hard situations are already addressed here somewhere.

the game is ridiculously hard, too the point it killed 90% of its players in an already niche fan-base, then they nerfed mechanics and made it even harder. your better off playing They Are Billions, its a much more accessible game with tons of tutorials and a 500X larger player base, that scales better and has a much better endgame.
