People, a basic google search shows that Playside Studios HAS worked on Warcraft 3. It is NOT an advertisement.

It's there because they are Directly involved in the development of the game. Is reading an actors IMBD an ad for every movie they have ever been a part of? No it's not, it's just a list of things they have been involved in. Same thing here. You look at stamps on the post office website and think "man, this ad for the post office is awesome"? A list of current products is not an "ad".

He asked WHY it was on their site and "did they work on the game". "its an ad" is nowhere near the entire context of why its there. Its a product they are actively working on developing right now, therefore it is on their site. Any dev is going to link to their own products.

Happy to help mate. From what I read they started earlier this year and took a temporary contract. Not sure if Blizzard just wanted an external team to take a look and see what could be improved or if they just needed extra help to sort of round things out. I just hope that it does not slow them down too much working on AoD haha!
