music skipping or stuttering

never encountered this issue in a game before. it's frankly bizarre

i do not have any audio enhancements on my pc. I'm using basic headphones without audio drivers beyond basic functionality...

basically every 20-30 seconds the music skips/stops. it's pretty immersion breaking

i searched on the forums and seems like it's been an issue for years... unsure of the status of a fix or if this is just a "live with it" type of annoyance

Hopefully they fix it now that it’s out of EA but seems like an old issue

If it’s not better by the 2 hour mark I guess I’ll refund

Shame because otherwise the game is great but it’s too distracting

Might as well just refund now if that's the case. It's been reported multiple times over the last couple years and still hasn't been fixed. Along with quite a few other issues.

the latest patch still has music stutters and now even the rain FX are skipping/pausing

lol.. ive never seen a game with so many audio bugs. especially this long running

I have had the same issue, but recently tried changing from GSYNC to Fixed Refresh rate in Nvidia control panel - I'm unsure if it completely fixed the issue, but I do wonder if it is tied to the framerate/game logic? I'll report back as I play more.

Edit: just had another go and it didn't fix it. Music is still stuttering every few seconds.

same here, load a save file that never had issue, and now audio bug, not just music, seem like all sound are shuttering and echoing.

Seems like happens only in borderless full screen fixes it
edit no still lagging this crap
