Game feels not smooth when v1.0 came out
Hi devs! I just downloaded the complete version of the game which is 1.0. Now, it feels not smooth when moving/panning my mouse cursor on the screen. It feels and looks laggy or jittery compare from the previous version of the game. The mouse has no problem by the way. It just that the screen display even when v-sync is turned on. It feels not right. Please, would you optimize the game?

The performance is just terrible!
I have 6750XT and my wife has 1070Ti, but now we both have around 37 FPS even at 1080p

UPD we both with NVME (3300/3100) and both have 128GB RAM.

I don't know what just happened. The overall game's performance was a lot better compare to what we are having right now. It feels not optimized.

By the way, I play this game on a gaming laptop.

My gaming rig specifications:

Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4050 (stable overclocked)
Windows OS: Windows 11 24H2
Processor: 13th Gen Intel Core I5 13420H clocked at 2.10 GHz - 4.6 GHz
RAM: 32 GB clocked at 5200 MHz
Installed Game Driver: NVME 1TB

My gaming laptop is properly and completely optimized to the core only for gaming. I am disappointed about the v1.0 game's performance.

Personally I was hoping the 1.0 will get rid of random stutters (not autosave) and random audio cuts but those are still present for me just like in the previous versions. It's disheartening that those stutters were reported across the years and the issues still persist to final release.

Yeah, the game feels and looks jittery like your screen display is having short hiccups whether you turned on or off V-Sync when moving or panning your mouse across the map. I never had this awful experience from the previous version of the game. Also, even when you lower your in-game settings. It feels the same. Stuttering like screen jerking. I don't know how to describe this anymore. Devs, please make a hotfix for this real quick. Thank you...

I have been thinking lately, why did they release the full version of the game with this unacceptable repulsive game performance? This is disheartening.

Thanks for the info.

Was just about to buy it. Not until they fix this now

I love this game and adore the devs. But now, it feels like my wife divorce me.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences - we're sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with game performance. So we can investigate further, would you be able to let us know if the performance is impacted only in multiplayer, single player modes, or across all modes?
Single player for me.

Thank you for letting me know, Estranged! Would you be able to share your PC specs and if this seems to occur during any specific moment during a playthrough (death nights, night time, auto saving, etc) or happens across the board? Any other details you can share would be fantastic.

Not gonna lie, i was hyped about this game when i found out about it 30 mins ago, but the anti-aliasing looked pretty bad (because i was in 1080p on a 4K resolution), the resolution settings aren't working correctly at all so i can't select 4K, only 1080p or below (think it's reading my Display 1 as Display 2 which is a 1080p monitor).
I started the campaign, switched to fullscreen so it was in 4K by default, and my GPU is at 100% usage with my PC being very loud whilst it tries not to overheat, i get 43% usage on 1080p and this is just the start of the game where there's 2 people on screen o.o

Specs:
GPU: RTX 4070 MSI
Idk what my CPU is, but it's a lot worse than my GPU and it wasn't reaching 100% like the GPU was.

Hi Emily! I have been doing my effort to convey to you about the performance issue of the game since the version 1.0 was recently released. The performance issue I or we encountered is the relentless stuttering, jittery, or unsmooth panning of camera across the map with high or acceptable FPS in all game modes especially in Survival even when v-sync, game mode, and HAGS are turned on. I haven't tried the multiplayer or co-op just yet. I never had this issue from the last or previous version I guess it was 0.12.2?

There's no problem with the mouse cursor performance. Or, the units' animations. It is the unsmooth moving of camera like jerking or skipping motions that gives you a little bit of headache and annoyance from time to time.

I really hope you will be able to solve this performance issue as soon as possible.

I haven't played coop but it happens in campaign and survival. I won't copy paste from another topic. Just read my post here.

You can ignore the ghosting problem. I don't care about it that much in general. Just the stutters/drops.

In short, the drops just happen regardless of system load on kind of interval. I timed them and it was 2 min 2 min 2, 2, 5, 2, 3 and I stopped checking after that. Audio cuts also just happen but with those there is no fps drop. it's just the audio skipping a beat for unknown reason.
