It happens mulltiple times. I lose the ability to direct units and their ai pathing just turns to ♥♥♥♥ and they run around aimlessly. Have only been able to recover from it once without restarting the game. That being said it happens quite frequently. It looks like it happens a lot during the blessing selection screen and during some other instances. If it is a bug its game breaking and needs to be fixed.
So maybe a bug, I would even try to reinstall the game if it happens frequently just in case.
make sure to start a fresh save,do not continue a map from pre patch one as that can cause issues.
verfiy game cache or even reinstall only 5gb.
And maybe your current savefile got semi corrupted or something.
Very rare cases units can get stucks and do not move usually when the path is fully obsctructed by colission objects like player buildings but even some decoratives stuff too.
In very rare cases if you eject from towers and decroative object with collision is nearby units can get stuck.
If its still not fixed maybe you can make short video and send it to devs with your dxdiag log.
Same I put the game away because of this. Its game breaking and it is fairly frequent also. Hopefully they figure it out in the future along with some of their other bigger problems.
The author, I completely understand you, and this problem also prevents me from playing after choosing a blessing. The developers sort of fixed this error, but then with a new patch, it appeared again.
