Once you expand far enough, it ends up only having two entrances with plentiful resources contained.

The places of the crestals and the order of the DN are random even with same seed

Large starter site, lots of forests and lakes nerby. Once the starter area is cleared, the only entrances to the base are from west and north

2549456896, this one starts out as 1 way in but turns into a 2 way in when you expand far enough, not alot of space in the starting area, nice pocket for farm land and a camp with free units is a short walk north west from the keep. Stone, is short supply in the map though, but its do able

3448487936 , another neat pocket starter with crap loads of space and while is has 3 doors into it the waves only aim for north east door and south west door, there is another door in the south east and after clearing out the "2 door pocket" take the secret path out to begin clearing/expanding, the pocket contains everything you need in theory but the metal spawn is only good for 5 per tic , decent metal path out side the south east.

Two early game gold patches; one to the east of spawn about 3/4 mile; another to the left/south (further down). Early steel to the north/right. large stone and large steel to the east/south. Mobs can only enter base through north or west, so expanding south/east is safe.

Big space at keep for up to 2 treasury, 1 elite north meters away behind a choke, only 3 points to defend where all are impenetrable (all got 1-3 blocks wide chokes [far west, mid north, near east), 3 crystals take 1 choke, lots of dead ends in the south, extremely high wood farm on starting area (25,23,22,21), easy 31 fish at south poi.
you only need to clear south before last stand when playing on nightmare bc all leftovers want to squeeze through a 1 block wide gap.

Cleared on nightmare with a dead hero and at aprox 1-2 wall segments torn down at each choke.
