edit2: now it is jumping from 24 to 254.
2024 edit3: now it is 80 in best conditions.
Spet 2024 edit4: now it keeps going from 18 to 70 players at peak.

you are talking about different games and different market, we are on steam and the game is targeting FPS, not strategy MMO games

It's the same principle, one just is on Steam rather than using their own launcher. MV used to be their own launcher and survive just fine until they had to close the servers. Now it's back as if nothing happened to the player base.

I think the core game loop doesn't resonate with today's "market" of players. It's okay if the devs want to target a niche.

they are targeting nothing, they didn't even change anything about the game, just very very few updates, even the game isn't optimised at all for the new hardware.

they didn't remake the game, who did remake it was toy heros, but what these devs did was just buying the old game and change the exe name, and called the day.

it is not impressive at all, 600 in first 2 weeks is really bad, they are big company and not just small 2-3 people team to keep running the game for 600 person.

i don't get what's the problem right now? to me the game doesn't need anything new. you just play it for what it is and it is fun. why do people always need some kind of reward, progression, etc? this game is literally perfect to play with a group of friends and i really missed it, although i'm normally not even a shooter guy.
you can just jump into some online rooms and have fun as well. just bootup the game and play... it seems like we are even getting ranked mode soon? what else do you want?

more skins to unlock would be cool, i guess.. but do we really need it to keep playing?

the reason its dying is there cuz there aint anything to grind for or ranked / clan matches . when those come alive u will see the game will come live again , there will be competitive and hopefully prizes alone side them so there will be reason to play.

Yall seem to forget the only thing they really promised was no more P2W. U also gotta remember the MV is now owned by a different company which likely has far less people working on it. Its kinda disappointing that there's only balance changes but in all essence that's what people wanted and that's all they promised. Now u can get any variant of weapon (a. b, or c) for 100 mp. The only thing you're really missing out on is cosmetics.

I for one am happy the promise was kept and am excited to see where things go
