the real reasons why the game is dying and what to do PART 1
Hello everyone, with this debate I would like to try to list what I think has not worked, does not continue to work and how at this rate we will not get to a year of play. Please cooperate with ideas and suggestions to get it to megansoft.
I waited for some time to make these constructive criticisms and unfortunately for me as a player there are gaps that I do not explain.

(1).BEGINNER PLAYERS AND LEVELS.
I played the first version of MV in 2011 or 12, then I reconnected to the game Toy heroes, before this version came out, I am not a beginner but I can understand why many new players left the game after just a week.
MV being available via steam, and has a chance to reach a bigger player base. this for the company itself translates into possible more revenue and for us players a large community with which to play or otherwise know and interact.

the fact is that MV is a game that at the moment has few players who are mainly those who had nostalgia for the game, and the biggest challenge, at the time lost, was to know how to involve the new and to know how to keep those loyal players..., and lately even those nostalgic are leaving the game right now...

The fact is that the game in the eyes of a new player is confusing.


A- POOR TUTORIAL. = the amount of new players to who I had to explain things that should normally be explained by the game is high. The tutorial remained the same as the primary version of 2012 and in 2023... is not good. okay the part regarding the battle where you try every weapon, and stuff like jump etc. but it lacks a tutorial on the game modes and especially on how the store works and tuning. I spent tens and tens of minutes explaining how to do, how the battery works tuning etc. A thing like a mini video of 30 seconds would be enough to explain the shop, inventory. 30 seconds a video for each mode, or a test match with bots, and not limit yourself to a description that says= "capture the opponent’s team battery" so that the person understands what to do without dying 30 times (or more) per game,(point on which I arrive immediately and which involves the levels). and do not underestimate this aspect because many have left simply for a reason that seems trivial but is not. I’m not talking about which is the best set up for each weapon, but explaining things like..."this is the part where you can customize and improve your character stats, parts, speed or health" or for example, I who am a main meele player, "this is the range and it serves to...". here’s just introduction thatthe game should give you regardless. i remember back in the days the first times i played mv and to understand certain basic things i put days...also a tutorial or anyway a clearer description on how the capsules work the mp and rt.
And NO! obviously the descriptions or the tutorials are not enough, since many beginners who maybe 2 weeks did not know these things, you can expect to find someone who is willing to explain things to you as I do, but the truth is that not everyone wants to egiustamente should think the game. For more megansoft should know his community. a large portion if not perhaps the majority of players are Hispanic andmany do not understand English, I do not say to release the game in all languages but at least a translation in the 2/3 languages that are used more, (English, Spanish, French) I don’t talk about Asian versions because I don’t know how they are, whether translated or just in English, but everything that creates cofusion drives away new players.

sometimes I found myself making private rooms with novices just to explain them how the game works, so imagine who didn’t have any help and that obviously after trying one, two matches got tired of not finding answers and consequently left, there are so many I assure you

B. BEGINNER/ NON BEGINNER LEVELS
One of the biggest problems is the level system, and the fact is that those who run the game have always aimed at quantity more than quality. Levels don’t really serve any purpose right now... but let’s go step by step.

Remember the poor new players? here... it’s not nice to start playing and die 20 times in 3 minutes because you are catapulted into a community where there are pro players who have never stopped playing.at the time I also suffered the same frustration in making the first matches and die continuously, but not because you still have to learn, more because you face everyone without any restrictions and of course the player wants to do so many kills so you are the prey of all.

how to do? categorize levels. example= the first 20 levels closed or better to say, once you get to level 21 you can no longer play, with those that are still between level 0 and 20. In practice, let us say for example that there are 3 bundles. FIRST BAND (0-20LVL), SECOND BAND (20-50), THIRD BAND (free, enter the free community and meet any level).
This solves two problems.=
1- new players have the opportunity to go hand in hand with each other, then to enter the game without dying because you meet a level 134 who wants to get 40 kills only with you, but play with people like you began and then after is the skill that does its part.
2- if a player should also make a new profile to have many kills in statistics (of the type 40/50 a match) would rise quickly level and after some matches would leave the band, leaving those who must learn the time to play with those of their level.
3- (bonus point) many meele players like me maybe also want to learn how to play with all weapons, but just impossible to have fun when you die every 3 seconds, If this level system had been adopted immediately we would have had time to learn to play with all weapons without being killed by the pros, and vice versa for those from all weapons want to do some meele game. Simply because you have time to learn and who is strong already from the beginning, because he played the previous mv goes in other bundles quickly, leaving the bandrooms to the princes in the game or in the category.
to differentiate the rooms you could do that in the lobby you see the rooms each with color by band. example, the band number one the rectangular bar is colored in blue, the band two red, and the third the let white. (the colors can change was just to make the idea). maybe if a player of the first or second tier still wants to play outside of his category (with the upper ones), the possibility of creating mixed rooms even if you are level 17 go to play with those from level 50 and up to try. Obviously each band has its own difficulty in leveling up. easier for the novices, more difficult as you climb the band. but if you are a level 17 and play a free game with levels 134, 100 etc. you get more experience since it will be more difficult for you.

now, after having dedicated a very important chapter to new players/beginners( more new players= more money for magansoft and more people to play with and more money to invest to improve the game too) Let’s get to the heart of the matter as far as all players are concerned.
As previously said the mv community is divided into two parts. now the fact is that all or almost all of us know that the game is almost never dead since it has had in a decade 3 versions ( correct me if I’m wrong) and Toy heroes that anyway is under consideration being the same game but more updated, but also less controlled among hacks etc.
If you are a game that people have never stopped playing or thinking about, you can’t come up with any substantial additions, because before you opened, they played through another site. and above all you can not present the game with less mode than even almost 10 years ago...

(2) MODES
I am one of those who..."guys the game is JUST OUT let them work you will see that all the missing things will come back and new things will come".
but it’s been months and we’re not talking about new things but even bring back old modes in the game, which should be present at the release or a few weeks later.
Talking to someone close to the developers, he told me that there are copyright issues on some sets etc. and all right, I mean, if they can create new ones, patience, but as a player like me you explain the lack of ARM RACE, BOMB BATTLE, SQUARE MODE (if you want to make the chill rooms with friends is useful or still allows you to explore the maps in complete tranquility, useful for new, but also by yourself instead of waiting in the lobby if you do not find anything that inspires you to play).
and I’m not talking about the sub-categories of square mode present in square mode as = lava escape mode (with barriers), chicken run( thing we do even now in private rooms when we are in chill time, we chase after a "slap", meele players will understand me) Seeker mode.
those are things that diversify the game, game that currently is very boring right now, i play it more because I have some good friendship, but my desire is going to 0 absolute day after day and speaking with the others im not the only one.
In fact, not being a new game, these modes must come back, to have left are also many old players of mv, or those who from toy heroes once arrived here who, have seen nothing, but even less things, and if well were understandable the first, days, weeks, to 7 November after 2/3 months you have nothing of the missing modes.
sincerely my thought and that of many during l was th(toy heroes) era= "finally mv comes out, we would have new modes to play after years and a new community, not the usual 4 cats..."

I ALSO HAVE A NEW MODE TO SUGGEST, (BATTLE TOURNAMENT) a room of 16 players or less, however not an odd number, so you can make a series of 1vs1, the matches are chosen random, (you also have that souspence at the time of the "draw", which comes after the start)once you choose the combinations, 1vs 1 are held to follow until the final, maybe you can make two versions, a version where you participate in one against one single and a version where you do it in pair of two. And you can select, from the settings of the room, whether to choose the matches automatically or letting the game do, totally random, or do it manually. I’m imagining it as a meele mode, but it’s applicable to all weapons, whether it’s sniper or rifle or Shotgun etc.

ANOTHER MODE (SURVIVAL)
saw the survival mode? the one with bots in the factory? just do three versions=
1- the one already available now in "single player", with maybe one or two more difficult levels,(maybe even them, with more customization, if you have to kill with a single weapon, if your opponent bots can use all the weapons or one or those you select)
2- a survival to do with other people, I would make a maximum of 4 or 6, always against bots, in normal maps, selecting the challenge (whether to be able to recharge life or not) with the game ending only once dead, so you could also go ahead minutes if not hours, and just maybe in personal statistics appear="survival mode single 37min and 20sec, "survival mode team 37min. and 20 sec" with the names of those with whom you set your personal record.
3- always against bots but this time zombie, different from the zombie mode, because here would be the bots to spawn endlessly, until you lose all hp, also this to do single player or team

(3) MORE DETAILED ROOM CUSTOMIZATION SETTINGS
It would be advisable to have more precise customizations for the host rooms. many times in the room description, write certain tips you want for the game where you are the host. I explain better= (I am a meele player so my examples go there but I think they can also apply to other "categories") small things but that simplify life, like, who plays meele knows who are the tankers, ( those who in the "parts" upgrade on health, nothing against them, in the end if it is a thing of the game you can use it) maybe you want to make a room, where you kill with a "heavy hit" (right mouse button, not the slap which is the left button) and many times it causes problems the fact that you do not respect what is written,(NO TANKERS) or maybe a person does not notice it, why not make it selectable.
. example= full speed only or better to say, to make selectable the level of life (hp) for all equal as before, adding also the free setting. example=1000hp, 1500hp, 2000hp, 2500hp and free (where as now if you have 2000 hp and one has 2350 plays together) as before for the levels, and the modes this creates differentiation, from the possibility to make unique matches and fun challenges. now I talked about the hp, but it can be extended to other things, such as tuning required to enter the room etc.

(4)LEVEL SYSTEM PT2 AND MP
I understand that the game is a free to play and no longer a pay to win, are not against this, even better, but the levels must make sense, instead of getting to lvl 500 that leads to nothing but the color and shape... make the levels useful. maybe you put old parts and new parts mp in the store but that cost a lot of the tip 20k mp per piece (example) but with prizes in mp every time you make a game (differentiated better if you win, lose or draw) and every time you climb level but that is full-bodied, Make it slow to level up but once you get more important sums mp, maybe not such to easily reach 20k but the 100/300 mp of now are ridiculous and annoying. For rt I have nothing to say, in the end you are adding stuff and that’s fine.

(5)CLANS AND CLANS BATTLE
the clans are useless, aesthetically beautiful, but where are the battles, I don’t express for the moment however because I know that you are working there, therefore we wait and hope well.

(6)MAPS
ok here maybe comes into play the Copyrigh, so I do not compare with TOY HEROES, but we need Maps, really, I would have expected a couple of unpublished maps just to welcome, instead as the modes we are less than before, I trust you don’t put pressure on me I don’t know how to make maps so okay, but please don’t release 1 a year. being small toys ,there would be endless locations that could be created, from rooms like garages, bathrooms, bedrooms, dollhouse, cinema to version 2 as made for toy garden but for wild west, toy fleet, girls academy etc. right it would be nice to have more verticality in the game, and maybe new ways to interact in the maps not only with super jump cannons, but I know it takes time.


(7) WE CAN PAY STUFF BUT...
people are really ready to put money through micro transactions, but please feel us, you could also put a pass game that is so fashionable for certain events,
Please put back the "glown light" of weapons even maybe to buy in the shop (IN MP) also expensive but just possible to buy, with everyone you can choose the color you want. In this game the sets are beautiful, but in the end there are few ways to be unique, you have removed the "glown light" that came with the final levels of the old tuning system, put it back in the form of items to put on the weapon, you can also create a new category on item, in addition to those already present as= back, head, weist, precisely a new category "weapon item" where maybe put the "glown light" or pendants objects, extensions you can attach to weapons.
also with regard to personal actions, MV when it came out predicted and brought things that were later adopted finished and improved in the current fortnite and NBA to make two known examples, in the sense when I do "nanananana(SHOT OUT TO NAOMI<3)" why not realize customizable actions, unlockable through levels, or shop a few mp other rt, or on the battle pass that I mentioned before, bsterebbe for each character release one occasionally even in capsules, some you can do in limited time, or that they come depending on the holidays and if you have them you keep notes. nice the fact of selecting the item, they are also stupid littleness sometimes, but that anyway if they make you customize more your counterpart viruale, you are very pleased, and there are those who would spend just to have a personal action unique or otherwise different.
are things that in 2023 we also find in the less heavy games on smartphones, and this is the feeling that I mv now a game that sat still at 2011/12 that was there, maybe not needed but the smaller ones look at these things,my 14 year old brother fixed with fortnite since there are also these things that gamplay because they give depth, MV is MV but must keep up, I’m sure this game has the potential to have a large gamebase, just that until you listen to the players and you do not understand what is wrong, I am afraid that the game will be increasingly left user after user.

I Think a reason why the game is dying is because new players cant get the game to run. it just stopped running right after we open the game.

The problem is they need to do the rewards above level 100 but they don't. THEY took forever to re-release this game and did nothing

another issue is the wep balance, ever since they added the "a,b and c" cat on the weps people figured out the meta with that the c weps dominates the other two options, combine that with going full tank and your unstoppable.
Their inability to sort out a b c makes aiming weapons unimportant, it's better to leave the weapons as they are. The strongest is yellow, the weakest is bronze
The problem is not that it needs new players but that it has too few players. When you're a new player in a game with no players, what do you do? This game is so boring. You never explained why you understood the new player left, but just spoke vaguely.
lack of storyline, lack of unique maps, must be large in area, not make both sides copy each other in one map.
I'm not a new player but its relaunch also disappointed me, there are no weapon upgrades, limited costumes. things that should have happened but were somehow averted. The game is not groundbreaking.
Jerks and lag are hard to accept when the game is over 10 years old but still has errors.
Players: they complain about the ping numbers which annoys me, they can't play normally, and the game doesn't make it any smoother and I feel like I'm always losing to high config players.
What's more special is that this game is not friendly to weak configurations, so it does not reach large players, done.

hello, maybe you did not read well or I was not clear, also because the message is long, but we are saying the same thing. 1.The problem is absolutely to reach new players, because, you yourself wrote, that there are few active players (which are nostalgic or otherwise old players between MV, MV SURGE and Toy heroes) and I explained well why all the new have abandoned, devoting about sixty lines, and I am not repeating. 2. the game is boring because it has no mode to propose counting the fact that more than half of it is missing from the "original" version (I dedicated another paragraph only to the modes). 3. maps are not a big problem, or rather I agree that they should make them bigger (especially for playing weapons) and even more articulate, to release a map every 3 months, and introduce new mechanics.

There is nothing going on here and you are bat crazy if you think so.
GO PLAY A REAL GAME LITERALLY ANYTHING.
