Dual monitors/two screens?

Is there any way for me to use my monitor as my girlfriend uses the television? They're not the same size, not next to each other, nothing like that, but they're both hooked up to the PC.

Failing that, can the screen be split horizontally instead of vertically?

never heard of a gameplay like that because when you boot the game you need your partner to be on another pc for you guys to play because it requires 2 players on the lobby registered via invite

Are you saying the game has no local co-op? Because it definitely does. We've played it for several hours by now.

So, as for my original question, I thought I'd heard of a way to do this for games that have online multiplayer, but even if that's true, this game seems to be splitscreen even when playing online, so I don't think it would work. But it's fine, I think we're almost done with it. Very fun.

easier to be done on two monitors set up vertically, then split your screen into two screen resolution, and run on Windows Mode than full screen.
