Game stops launching with no error message

I downloaded the game and pressed play - it seems to be launching then silently shuts down with no error, no window of the game whatsoever
I got the EA app, linked my Steam acc, and tried it there but its the same - apparently there's no error but the game just stops and I can't do anything. What should I do?
I also recently got the game 'a way out' (also from EA) and it launches better (although I need to fix a dll error) so i think this silent crash is a problem from the game

you known you can not play single player don't you?
