Stuck on the loading screen

Me and my bf have been playing for 8 hours and we have just passed the couples therapy cutscene, but right after they both fell into the hole, the game doesn't proceed to the next level and gets stuck on the loading screen forever. We both have tried every solution that has been written on the forums and even he installed the game to a different laptop but the problem remains. Anyone could help?
