mini game nightmare

why does it seem like the mini games are biased toward May? I am playing with my husband and I keep losing, wack a cody he can hit me while I am going down, targets it takes to long to reload while he dashes around hitting targets, and tug of war I almost break my control but it is like I am not hitting triangle at all...

So far I've not felt like either character has any advantages, except in the Whack a Cody minigame, and I feel like Cody has the advantage on that one...

I'm playing with my son and he beats me every time, no matter who's playing who - except for tug of war, because I'm the better button smasher!

Depends on the controls, I was playing may on the controller and a friend on keyboard so actually he was winning that minigame (?
