Is the friend pass installation same as actual game?

My friend and I are testing out chapter 1 and were wondering since the friend's pass is 43gb, if we decide to purchase the game does it share the 43gb or will we be re-downloading a more complete +43gb version of the game.

My thought is that the 43gb is the complete game and won't need to be re-downloaded when the full game is purchased. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

Hi, we play locally on one computer (with friend's pass for demo chapter 1 ) , but after i buy the game , it start to download the 43gb again... With the same waiting time for download the 43gb of demo. I don't know if this is normal? it seems download the 43gb two times.

the friend pass installation is the game. Once you get a licensed copy, your friend can download the friend pass and you invite them to your lobby.
