no dialogue audio

Hi, i just bought the game yesterday and I can hear background noises during cut scenes but when any character speaks - there is no sound. the audio settings in the game seems fine but am I doing anything wrong?

Just pushing this because I too searched for an hour until I found the solution.

For me it was the issue when I tried to put the game on my TV via HDMI.
Apparently Windows configured my stereo TV as 7.1 system without asking. This way if the game wants to use the 'speech' channel for audio it puts the dialogue on a 7.1 speaker which doesnt exist, hence no voices.
You need to configure it in the windows audio settings for your active device and set it to Stereo manually.

Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
Type or copy and paste "mmsys.cpl" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER.

Select your Audio device.
Click on "Configure"

Here you can select Stereo > Click "Next" until it says "Finish" > Click Finish > Test.
