So when the game boots and it says ‘logging into epic’ and you hit escape it still logins in?
Can you drop me a quick email: studio@thebrotherhoodgames.com
yep, im still getting logged in
and email sent
Yes, it automatically logs in no matter how fast you hit escape. There's no way to skip the Epic overlay. That's not possible in any ESG game. And unlike Steam, there is no option to disable it on a global or game-by-game basis. I don't use any MSI software or anything else that could conceivably be creating this conflict with the Epic overlay (which is pretty clearly what it is; I coped the GoG files over the Epic install and launched the game via EGS, no overlay and no problems), and I've played or at least briefly tried out easily over 100 games on EGS and never had any conflict with any other with the overlay like Stasis Bone Totem has.
This is complete BS. Those options have nothing to do wih the in-game overlay. They only impact the EGS client.
But yes, I can skip the Log-In. Still, sometimes black screen on continue, sometimes not.
Appreciate the feedback.
The files are in a Sub folder 'NON_EOS_VERSION_STASIS2' in the STASIS2 folder then run STASIS2.exe
In the Epic Launcher, located STASIS: BONE TOTEM
Right Click on The Stasis Icon or click the three dots next to the name.
Click on Manage.
You might need to update to 1.0.4.4B (Check version Number)
Verify, then Update.
This will bring up the setup panel.
location "Installation" click on the folder icon.
This will open explorer.
Find the folder "NON_EOS_VERSION_STASIS2"
Open it.
Double Click on STASIS2.exe
it will load 1.0.4.3 (Which is the same as the Steam and GOG build).
Enjoy.
If you want to add achievements manually to your EGS. Then Do the following:
Open the EOS version connecting to EGS with your account (You don't have to play the game).
Then From the menu:
Hit ~ (tilde)
Then type in ach 0 through to 19
And Enter...
This will add them to your account.
Else you can track them in our main menu if you do not care about the EGS points.
Open the EOS version connecting to EGS with your account.
Then From the menu:
Hit ~ (tilde)
Then type in ach 0 through to 19
This will add them to your account.
Thanks, unfortunately that version does not find my saves, so I can neither continue nor load a previous save.
So what you need to do is locate the saves and pop them into the correct folder. Epic saves them in a few possible places but you can confirm the location by hovering over the save slot in the load menu. This gives you the location of the .bt file. It’s probably c:\the brotherhood\ then copy them to the new location. You can get that by hovering a load slot in the non EGS version or you can also use this in explorer:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\THE BROTHERHOOD\STASIS2\
Grab the .bt files.
