Clue present in all clues but missing from "Add clue" menu

I'm trying to fill in the clues for the Fools Emerald and the "Note about Lawn" is showing in all clues but not from the picklist. Means I can't complete the book :(. Anyone found a solution to this or will it have to wait for a patch?

Not all clues can be applied to a plant. This one isn't associated with a plant, you're just supposed to act on the information in the note.

Oh...are you sure? For all other stages you can use ever identified clue. I agree not all clues are identified in the chapter clue index, but for all that are, they apply to a plant.

Bioluminescence (side terrace)
Plant chemicals (side terrace)

Morse code (telegraph)

okay, so I cannot get the morse code clue to pop for me. I have the telegraph, I have tried inspecting it, but I can't focus on the note in the lid. Any ideas?
