Telegraph stops working after growing the related the flower

I noticed that once you have managed to grow the flower the telegraph can't be used anymore. I can move it around, but I can't do any more morse codes. i tried planting a new seed to see if that would trigger it to work but it doesn't.
Is that intended? Seems weird that for the other flowers you can plant multiple if you want, but it appears you can only do this one once. Actually I was just going for an achievement, so no biggy. I'll just replay the chapter, but seems like an oversight or bug that the telegraph stops working.

This is still an issue - I cannot get the related telegraph SOS achievement if I resume my save from the post-credits. All other achievements are available in the post-credits gameplay (Putting all the pots in the flower room, growing three of the same plants, etc). Please fix this soon! I want to nominate this game for Steam awards if the devs are still active.

I was able to fix this by closing the telegraph, picking it up, setting it back down again, and opening it back up.
